Vintage Truck, New Experience F-100

This project was intended to make a old truck showing dents and dings and aged paint handle and operate like a newer sports car, if not better. This truck features a complete chassis build, modified mustang II front suspension, cantilever 4 link coil over rear suspension with incorporated sway bar. There has been many tasteful upgrades including electric remote water pump, electric adjustable power steering, Tesla electric power brake booster with custom fabricated Wilwood master cylinder mounts and incorporated adjustable balance bar that can be adjusted front to rear bias on the fly! This truck also incorporates a integral NASCAR style cage as part of the chassis to protect the driver and passenger, the cage has swing away door bars that operate with the regular door latch for easy entrance and exit of the truck. Included is a 5 point harness for both passenger and driver while sitting in one off custom fabricated seats tailored to fit the average height driver. Engine is setback approximately 18" in the chassis to perfect the front to rear bias of the truck yielding close to a 50/50 weight balance. The transmission is a full manual VB ford AOD with upgraded internals and a 3600 RPM stall converter, all powered by a healthy high compression, high revving 289 with a custom intake, distributor delete, CNP, custom belt drive timing drive, high RPM cam, full EFI holly terminator X for engine management. Fuel is supplied to the high horsepower motor via 2 Walbro high flow pumps housed in a custom machined fuel pump module. Power is sent to the 9" aluminum housing that is positioned by 4 aluminum triangulated 4 link bars, with double adjustable coil overs controlling compression and rebound. Components are monitored by NVU gauges housed in a custom machined housing incorporated into the very minimalist dash/ center console all while being an integral part of the rigid chassis structure. Only creature comfort included is heat received through the custom cage with custom vents. (Sorry no stereo, AC or powered seats, locks or windows!) Many other details I'm sure I haven't listed but check this build out for yourself that will soon be for sale on BAT. If you have build you would like to complete, please feel free to reach out to me! Thanks for looking!
